If you’re experiencing network issues or want to transfer your Starlink hardware to someone else, you might need to reset your Starlink kit to its factory settings.
Below are the steps to complete this process in a simple and efficient manner.
If you only need to restart your Starlink system quickly and easily, there are two additional methods you can try.
Important: These reset instructions are provided by Starlink. We are not responsible for any malfunction, accident, error, or data loss that may occur due to the reset process.
Method 1:
Open the Starlink app and select Settings. Then, tap the Advanced option and select Restart Starlink.
Both the dish and router will restart, and the process may take several minutes.
Method 2:
Unplug the router’s AC power cable from the wall outlet. Leave it unplugged for several minutes, then plug it back in.
This will restart the dish and router, and the dish will take several minutes to reboot.
If you need to reset the original circular dish or a Starlink mesh node, refer to the corresponding sections in the Starlink user guide.
